Bogathon is suitable for all fitness levels. The course is more about testing endurance and stamina than fitness.

Yes, every group must book and pay in advance of their Bogathon event.

 

Participants must be a minimum of 8 years old. All children who are under 5 feet in height should have an adult accompanying them.
Wear light clothing, but keep warm. Wear your normal running shoes and, because this is Ireland, you might want to take a hat, gloves and sun cream.

Minimum cost for groups is €500, this includes up to 20 participants. It costs €25 per extra participant above 20.

Hotels and B&B’s are available in the area
Yes, at the start and at the finish line.
Feel free to tell them their only fooling themselves. Bogathon participants don’t cheat, they compete. Anyone doing something they should not do will be automatically disqualified.
The Bogathon does not depend on Irish weather (and nor, quite frankly, should you!). Regardless of what kind of day we have, the Bogathon will go ahead. The only reason the event will be cancelled is if the weather conditions pose a health and security risk to our participants and organisers.
Once you have registered through our website, you will receive an email confirming your registration.
You can skip any obstacle that you do not feel comfortable with.
You know your body better than anyone else. If you can’t finish the course, take pride in the fact that you participated and gave it your best shot.
